A Night Rating allows PPL or LAPL holders to fly at night, from 30 minutes after sunset to 30 minutes before sunrise. This rating is particularly useful and a prerequisite for professional licences. The Night Rating requires 5 hours of night flying, including dual instruction and navigation.
Gain hands-on experience and confidence with night flying, which includes take-offs, landings, and essential night-specific theory. No exam is required, so costs are based on 5 hours of dual instruction.
