1 All prepayments for flying courses are based on the use of a PA28. The use of another aircraft will incur extra costs unless it is at the request of the school.
2 All prepayments for flying course packages and flying vouchers are non-refundable. If flying vouchers purchased have not been redeemed within 6 months, they will become null and void.
3 Products purchased cannot be assigned to any other flying school.
4 Clientele must book aircraft a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Failure to arrive will result in a no-show fee of £70 per two-hour slot or part thereof. Cancellations require 48 hours' notice; otherwise, a £70 cancellation fee will be applied per two-hour slot or part thereof. This does not apply to cancellations due to weather, technical, or operational reasons. The no-show fee increases to £105 for CPL/IR/IRR/MEIR/IR/FI/Night Rating.
5 Packages are based on the minimum required hours (e.g., CAA PPL 45 hours). If the student exceeds the course package limit, additional flights will be charged at the standard school rate for the aircraft.
6 The school will not be liable if booked aircraft are unavailable due to technical issues. The school reserves the right to re-assign or cancel lessons in such events.
7 Flights will only proceed if the weather is suitable and considered safe. Flights canceled due to unsuitable weather will be rescheduled free of charge.
8 The school reserves the right to exclude a student from the school or flying. This will not be unreasonably invoked.
9 Detailed training records will be kept for each student enrolled in a published course. These records are available for inspection by the student and are subject to data protection policies.
10 All students and hirers must be members of the flying school, complete the required information sheet, and pay the membership fee annually. Membership fees are non-refundable.
11 All students and hirers must read and sign the CFS operations manual.
12 Aircraft must be left in a clean state. Cleaning aircraft windscreens is required as part of the A check.
13 The minimum hire time for an aircraft is 30 minutes. For hires of six hours, the minimum hire charge will be three hours.
14 CFS reserves the right to update these terms and conditions as necessary.
